Custom-built
therapist
websites.
No templates. No platform fees — ever.
No two sites that look anything alike.
As therapy platforms keep raising their prices, owning your website outright has never made more sense. Hand-coded by a developer whose wife runs a group practice — I know this world from the inside.
About the studio
Tech, made with
actual care.
Most therapists didn't go into private practice to wrestle with website builders on the weekend. You chose this work to help people — and your online presence should reflect the care and craft you bring to every session.
I'm Chad, a Denver-based developer whose wife runs her own group practice. I've built her site. I know this world — the directories, the niche specialties, the way clients actually find you, the language that lands and the language that doesn't.
Every site I build is hand-coded from scratch. No themes. No page builders. No two practices ever get the same template, because no two practices are the same. What you get is a small, fast, beautifully made website that's yours — your domain, your hosting, your code, your name on everything.
And unlike subscription platforms, there are no ongoing fees that creep up every year. You pay once, own everything outright, and never have to worry about a company raising rates — or disappearing — and taking your site with it.
"Most therapist websites look like they were built the same afternoon — by someone who'd never met a therapist."— The reason this studio exists
Why hand-coded?
Three things your current site
probably can't say.
The case for owning your web presence outright.
No template chrome
Your therapist website looks like nothing else online. Not like Squarespace. Not like Wix. Not like anything a competitor is renting for $40–$100/month. Every pixel is intentional and yours alone.
You own everything
Domain, hosting account, code repository — all in your name. The site stays yours regardless of what happens between us. This is the opposite of platforms where the site disappears the day you stop paying.
Built for search
Clean semantic HTML, proper schema markup, local SEO targeting, and a sitemap submitted on day one. Not bolted on as an afterthought — structured for Google from the first line of code.
How this works
Considered,
not complicated.
A four-step process that keeps things moving without ever leaving you wondering what comes next. No project management software, no onboarding portals. Just clear communication and consistent progress.
The first call
Thirty minutes, free, no pitch deck. You tell me about your practice and the kind of clients you want to reach. I tell you honestly whether I'm the right person for the project.
Design & build
I design and code your site from scratch, sharing live previews along the way. We iterate on look, voice, and structure together. Usually three to five weeks, start to finish.
Review & refine
You review the site, request changes, and we fine-tune until everything feels right. I'm responsive and unhurried — this isn't an assembly line.
Launch & after
Your site goes live. I'm here for post-launch questions for the first 60 days, available on retainer or hourly after that. You're never left on your own.
Recent work
A small body of considered work.
Already have a site?
I'll work with what you've already got, too.
Not every project needs a from-scratch rebuild. If your site lives on WordPress, Squarespace, or Wix and you just want it to look sharper, load faster, or convert better — I do that work too.
Hourly or fixed quote, no minimum. I'll look and tell you honestly whether it's worth refreshing or whether you're better off starting fresh.
